Kingscliff wedding photographer returns home

This little Kingscliff wedding photographer felt very honoured to be asked to return to my home to capture the wedding of Jess and Jake.  I have worked with Jake photographing many of his brands over a number of years.  Jess said to me at the reception that the only choice Jake wanted in the wedding planning was to choice the photographer.  I remember him saying to me years ago ‘one day you will be my wedding photographer’ this was before he had even met Jessica so it was lovely to be involved in their big day years later.

The bride and her bridal party started the day off with make up by Hilary Holmes MU.  I then met them at the Blo Out Bar where they sipped coffees and were pampered by the team of wonderful hair stylists.  I then met the nervous groom and his groomsmen at the new apartments in the CBD- ‘the warehouse’ Jake and his team of guys dressed and shared a drink together before heading off to the ceremony location.  I then went to jake and Jess’s family home to capture the excitement of the girls preparations.  The stunning gown was the perfect dress for Jess she could still easily feed their 5 month old baby – can you believe this stunning cool calm collected Bride had a bay recently.  She just took the whole event in her stride and baby Jagger was a little star.

This clever bridal couple chose Cricket Ink studio as their ceremony venue. The stunning industrial feel to the location was in contrast to the large clean white cyclone wall used by cricket for her product photography.  Lustre blooms transformed the simple back drop with a floating arbour that framed the nuptials.  A key feature through out the entire celebration along side the floral art with the Neon Collective pieces.

the ceremony was truely a family celebration of love.  Jakes Dad married them and other family members were included in the reading and as part of their bridal party.

The party part of the occasion was celebrated at The Barn Where guests were treated to an amazing meal put on by Pot and pan and enjoyed heart warming speeches from their loved ones.  As a wedding photographer I listen to may speeches given at weddings and these were some of the most loving and heart warming ones I jave heard in a while.  Congratulations Jake and Jess on a stunning wedding that I was most pleased to be a part of.

If you need to work with a Kingscliff wedding photographer please get in contact and we can catch up and discuss your wedding plans.
